YOUTH LEADERS CRY OUT TO GOVERNOR WIKE OVER WORSENING SECURITY SITUATION IN ANDONI LOCAL GOVERNMENT AREA OF RIVERS STATE.

Some youth leaders in Andoni Local Government Area of Rivers State have cried out to Governor Nyesom Wike, over the worsening security situation in the area.
The youths under the umbrella of the Save Andoni Movement also appealed to the Commissioner of Police, CP FRIDAY EBOKA and the General Officer Commanding 6 Division to immediately intervene to prevent the loss of more lives.
The Leader of the group, NSAN ENEYO said Andoni people have been displaced and are seeking refuge in nearby Khana Local Council following the security crisis.
In a remark, the Head of Security Committee of the Group, REWARD UNYEAWAJI appealed to the Chairman of the Rivers State Traditional Rulers Council, His Majesty King DOUGLAS JAJA, Amayababo of Opobo Kingdom to intervene in the social problem.
Our news desk observes that over twenty persons have been killed over a two-week period following reports of cult clashes in the Isiokwan District of Andoni.
