The residents of Emohua Local Government Area of Rivers State whose inhabitants say they are living in fear over the increasing rate of criminal activities in the area.
One of the residents who wants to remain anonymous told our correspondent that the resurgence of activities by hoodlums in the area followed the suspension of vigilante group, OSPAC, by Emohua Local Council Chairman, TOM ALIEZI.
The source told our correspondent that the people of the area wanted the government to intervene by reinstating OSPAC, while female respondents called for urgent intervention stressing that the period was that of farming.
Our correspondent reports that some residents of the area were afraid to speak on the matter, even as some suspected cultists killed two men at Ibaa community last Friday.
