FEDERAL GOVERNMENT SEEKS ALL-INCLUSIVE APPROACH TO TACKLE SECURITY SITUATION IN NIGERIA.

The Minister of Defence, retired Major General SALIHI MAGASHI, has admitted that the security situation in Nigeria is in a critical situation.

MAGASHI made the observation on the backdrop of resurging terrorists’ attacks, banditry and abductions across the nation.

The Minister also conceded that the security challenges require support of civilians and stakeholders in the national task of securing the country.

MAGASHI spoke in Abuja at a National Defence and Security Summit organized by the Defence Headquarters with the theme ‘Promoting Kinetic Operations as a Major Plank for Counter Terrorism and Counter Insurgency in Nigeria’.
