Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike has urged the three Local Government Area Chairmen from the Kalahari extraction to provide security and support for contractors working on the newly awarded Trans-Kalabari Road project.
Governor WIKE said this when he launched the Abonnema three-thousand-seater stadium in Akuku Toru Local Government Area.
WIKE, who was represented by his Chief of Staff, EMEKA WOKE said the state government would direct the contractors to give employment to some members of the communities during the road construction.
Also speaking, the Chairman of Akuku Toru Local Government Area ROWLAND SEKIBO said he only emulated his principal, Governor WIKE, in building a land mark project.
The council boss also said that human development projects are key in any administration and assured that Oceania communities would be carried along.
