Police operatives in the relaunched C-4-I unit have killed a suspected crime kingpin during a gun battle in the Etche axis of Rivers State.
Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of Administration in the Rivers State Police Command, DCP YOMI OLADIMEJI confirmed this to our correspondent.
DCP OLADIMEJI while showing the corpse of the criminal and items recovered from him to our correspondent said the marching order given to the men of the C4I was gradually paying off.
OLADIMEJI also appealed to the public to be vigilant in their neighborhood because two of the gang members escaped with gunshot injuries.
