UNIPORT MANAGEMENT DISOWNS FAKE FACEBOOK ACCOUNT OPENED WITH NAME OF ACTING VICE CHANCELLOR.

The Management of the University of Port Harcourt has disowned a fake Facebook account opened with the name of the Acting Vice Chancellor of the University of Port Harcourt, Professor STEPHEN OKODUDU.
In a statement, the Public Relations Officer of UNIPORT, SAMMY KPENU, said the account was opened by criminally minded persons asking individuals to pay hundred of thousands of naira for a non-existing job placements at the Federal Ministry of Education, Abuja.
The statement noted that the fake account operated by a faceless individual who claimed to be Doctor OGBUJI asked individuals to pay about 200,000 naira.
The document added that the public should keep away from the fraudsters and their fake social media platforms as the Acting Vice Chancellor did not operate nor have such social media handles.
