The Okwuzi community, Egbema in Ogba/ Egbema /Ndoni Local Government Area are jubilating after the release of an expatriate staff of the company undertaking the construction of Omoku-Egbema dual carriageway project.
Speaking to newsmen, the Paramount ruler of Okwuzi community, His Royal Highness, EZE Chukwuma NWANOKA expressed his deep appreciation to Okwuzi patriotic sons.
Eze NWANOKA said these include Egbema OSPAC, Chief NELSON EKPERI, Chief LIVINUS NWALI, KENTUS OBIYE as well as Afam Nwaugo for their proactive measures to effect the unconditional release of the expatriate.
Eze NWANOKA also thanked security agencies for their quick intervention saying residents could now breathe a sigh of relief.
The royal father further thanked the Traditional ruler of Obokofia Community and the Vigilantes, and urged Darycet company to return to site.
NWANOKA also said the vigilantes alerted the Police when they discovered where the Lebanese was dropped off by the kidnappers.
