FIVE PERSONS KILLED IN SHOOT-OUT BETWEEN TWO RIVAL CULT GROUPS IN LOBIA COMMUNITY IN SOUTHERN IJAW LOCAL GOVERNMENT AREA OF BAYELSA STATE

Five persons including a male child are reported to be victims of a shoot-out between two rival cult groups in the riverside town of Lobia community in Southern Ijaw Local Government Area of Bayelsa State.
However, the police say four persons were killed, while online sources indicated that the casualty figure was five.
Eyewitnesses account noted that the two rampaging cult groups supposedly from Ukubie and Azuzuama communities clashed during the remembrance ceremony of one Chief Genesis at Lobia community.
According to community sources, the little boy said to be the son of one AMOS, a native of Lobia community, while three persons from Ukubie and one from Azuzuama communities lost their lives during the shooting in the early hours of yesterday.
