Residents have expressed mixed reactions over the warning of Governor NYESOM WIKE to re-impose a fresh lockdown from January as the number of coronavirus cases surges in Rivers State.
Recall that Governor WIKE said this during the Thanksgiving Church Service in celebration of the 90th birthday of PRISCILLA NWANEDIYE MARK, at Saint Martin’s Anglican Church, Omagwa in Ikwerre Local Government Area.
The respondents, who spoke on The View, a current affairs programme, however, accepted that there was a need for residents to adhere to the COVID-19 protocols.
Meanwhile, human rights advocate, HIGHER KING is of the opinion that the issues on the coronavirus pandemic were been popularized because of unknown gains.
