he All Progressives Congress, APC Presidential Candidate, BOLA TINUBU is facing a legal battle over his decision to select a fellow Muslim as running mate, Senator KASHIM SHETTIMA in the 2023 poll.
An Abuja-based lawyer, OSIGWE MOMOH, dragged the APC to a Federal High Court in Abuja both presidential and vice president candidates of the party for the 2023 election were of the same faith.
The lawyer in the suit asked the court for an order of perpetual injunction restraining the Independent Electoral Commission from publishing their names for alleged violation of the 1999 Constitution, as amended.
