Rivers State Governor, NYESOM WIKE, has charged President MUHAMMADU BUHARI to demonstrate his commitment to fight the war against insurgency and insecurity.
The governor, who spoke on the backdrop of the prevailing security challenges in the country, also repeated his call for State police to boost internal security.
Governor WIKE made these views known when he featured as a guest on a national television network, noting that no government could provide good governance when if it fails to protect life and property.
WIKE argued that insurgency, banditry, cultism and other crimes were rocking Nigeria because the Federal Government had failed to admit its supposed lack of capacity to tackle the security challenges.
