RESIDENTS OF KHANA LOCAL GOVERNMENT AREA OF RIVERS STATE EXPRESS WORRIES OVER CULT CLASHES AND SEVERAL KILLINGS IN THE LGA

Residents of Khana Local Government Area of Rivers State are worried over the cult clashes and several killings in the LGA.
Speaking to correspondent AYO ODUNGWERU in a telephone interview, a native, KABARI KABARI said the situation of insecurity in the area was alarming.
KABARI also said the insecurity had crippled the economic situation of the area, as over 28 communities in the area were not connected to electricity.
He also called on the state government, stakeholders in khana LGA to rise up and restore the peace in the area, stating that only one police post in the area cannot solve the problem.
Meanwhile, the spokesperson of the Rivers state police command said he would get back to our news desk, following enquiries on the matter.
