PRESIDENT MUHAMMADU BUHARI FELICITATES WITH CHRISTIANS ON CELEBRATION OF EASTER.

President MUHAMMADU BUHARI has rejoiced with Christians on the this year’s Easter celebration.
In a message on his Twitter page, President BUHARI said Easter is an opportunity to renew hope and faith, show love and appreciation to one another and not to despair, irrespective of the challenges of the period.
The President noted that last year the celebrations were somewhat subdued, as the country battled the effect of the Coronavirus pandemic.
He said the restrictions meant Christian could not attend traditional Church services as they would have wished, but today Churchgoers can congregate and worship together, cautiously.
The president also appreciated the sacrifices of doctors, nurses and other frontline health workers, whom he said had made the difference in saving lives and curtailing the spread of the virus.
