Lawyers for Google and the United States government have argued over the number of documents the search giant should handover to the U.S. Justice Department in an antitrust lawsuit.
The U.S. government had filed the suit against the search and advertising giant before Judge AMIT MEHTA of the District Court for the District of Columbia.
However, the Justice Department’s Kenneth Dintzer said Google had refused to deliver some older documents, dating to the early 2000s.
He also said that third parties, which could include Microsoft and Apple, had delayed responding to government subpoenas until they got a summon from Google – which slowed that process down.
