Former Rivers South-East Senator, MAGNUS ABE, has insisted that the governorship ticket of the All Progressives Congress, APC in Rivers State, has not been zoned to the riverine area.
Senator ABE spoke on the backdrop of the reported declaration of Minister of Transportation, CHIBUIKE AMAECHI that the position will be zoned to the Riverine area of the state.
ABE told APC members in Port Harcourt, that the declaration was doomed to fail from the onset, accusing the Minister of first failing to lay a proper foundation for victory.
ABE also assured Rivers people that no single tribe, group or individual can single handedly produce the Governor of the state without the direct involvement of the other parts of the state.
Other APC leaders who were present at the event include Chief TONY OKOCHA, and WOGU BOMS.
