A national leader of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Bola Tinubu has retracted a statement that he seeks a recruitment of some 50 million youths into the Nigerian Army.
In a new statement, TINUBU said he meant that he wanted fifty thousand youths to be recruited into the Nigerian Army.
The APC leader said his earlier demand for the recruitment of 50 million soldiers was an accidental verbal mistake.
