NEW GOC 6 DIVISION NIGERIAN ARMY, PORT HARCOURT, TAKES CHARGE OF OFFICE FOLLOWING REDEPLOYMENT OF SENIOR MILITARY OFFICERS

The new General Officer Commanding, GOC 6 Division Nigerian Army, Port Harcourt, Major General SANI MOHAMMED, has assumed office following the recent redeployment of Senior Military Officers in the Nigerian Army.
In a statement, the Acting Deputy Director Army Public Relations 6 Division, Lieutenant Colonel CHARLES EKEOCHA, said the GOC’s appointment should interest residents of Rivers, Akwa-Ibom, Bayelsa and Delta States.
The statement said the new GOC is a seasoned Senior Officer who had attended all mandatory Courses and served in several Nigerian Army formations and units as well military establishments.
The statement further said before his new appointment, MOHAMMED was a Director at Army Headquarters Department of Training and Operations.
