Governor WIKE said the critics were disappointed that the project was completed and not abandoned.
WIKE made the comment in a speech at the inauguration of the newly-built Rumuogba Flyover otherwise known as Artillery on Aba Road.
In a remark, former Governor of Kano State, RABIU KWANKWANSO, hailed Governor WIKE for the bridge and other projects in the state.
Our correspondent reports that there has been an outcry that the Okoro-nu-Odu bridge did not address the traffic congestion problem at the Rumuokoro axis of Obio-Akpor.
Meanwhile, Governor NYESOM WIKE is receiving knocks for the supposed non-completion of the Artillery Flyover before the inauguration yesterday.
Some commuters including social rights campaigner, FYNEFACE DUMNAMENE, said motorists were forced to share one lane of the bridge from Rumukrushi junction. DUMNAMENE, who doubles as the Executive Director of Youth and Environmental Advocacy Centre, urged Julius Berger to supposedly finish work on the structure.
The Commissioner for Works, TASIE ELOKA-AMADI, did not respond to enquiries by news desk.
