The Rivers Judicial Commission of Inquiry into police brutality and violation of fundamental human rights by the Nigeria Police has commenced sitting in Port Harcourt.
The Commission Chairperson, Justice CHUKWUNENYE URIRI, said memoranda had been received from affected persons, the general public, corporate bodies, ministries, extra-ministerial departments and agencies, parastatals, groups and individuals.
