Ijaw Youth Council Worldwide

The President of Ijaw Youth Council Worldwide, Deacon TIMOTHY IGBIFA, has emphasised that the IYC will dialogue with Rivers State Governor, NYESOM WIKE for the release of FARAH DAGOGO following their purported political misunderstanding.

The Crown Prince of IYC Worldwide spoke to newsmen in Port Harcourt while addressing reactions from civil organizations and Ijaw sons on the continued detention of DAGOGO.

IGBIFA further advised all Riverine candidates in all political parties both at the state and federal level to unite the Niger Delta region to achieve their political desire.

The IYC President also appealed to Governor WIKE to be more civil in his approach when addressing issue concerning Rivers people in politics due on his dignified position as a Governor.

However, the president called on all civil organization to remain calm in order not to heat the polity as efforts are on the way to dialogue with the state government for his release.
