Government officials in Mexico are investigating the causes of an railway bridge that collapsed and killed at least 23 people when a Mexico City metro train plunged onto a busy road below.
Firemen using heavy chains to stabilize the site reportedly pulled bodies and survivors from wreckage.
Other reports indicated that the injured were taken to nearby hospitals in the south of the city.
